Herman Cain Negative Views on Black Americans. WARNING — Racially Targeted Ad has Profane Language

Posted by arlenearmy on October 12, 2011

(UPDATE:  Now that Herman Cain is out of the race, I say GOOD RIDDANCE !!)

Above is Herman Cain’s racially targeted 2006 radio ad that was reportedly intended to “attract”  blacks to vote republican.   Reportedly this radio ad was paid for by American’s PAC. Yes, Herman goes from characterizing blacks as Ho’s in 2006 to calling blacks “brainwashed” in 2012.  My or my.. what progress this man has made in race relations.

Excerpt from News Max (Oct. 18, 2006)

“The main thing that America’s PAC is up to is it basically is challenging the thesis or the belief on the part of the Republican Party that they cannot attract the black vote,” Herman Cain, an African-American talk-show host who voiced some of the ads, told the Sun.  He said similar advertisements run in 2004 helped boost President Bush’s share of the black vote in Ohio to 16 percent from 9 percent in 2000.”

I figure this must be what Herman Cain meant by when he asserted he would get 1/3 of the blacks to vote Republican in the 2012 election.   But if this blaxploitation (blacksploitation) didn’t work in 2006, it’s seriously doubtful this sort of racial stereotype ad will work in 2012.

HYPOCRISY #1:  What’s more shocking & disheartening to me is that there’s people in the republican party who would tolerate this ad being aired on its behalf.   Since Herman Cain went on rampage against Black people, I’ve noticed RACIAL hypocrisy in both Republican-types as well as in the Democrats regarding “whose the blackest” … & “whose authorized to talk about blacks & whose not” … and the attitude of “My black is better than your black”.     All of a sudden what the Republicans accuses the democrats of doing with regards to the black race,  Republicans are doing the same thing.  If  both parties take a step back, they’ll see this.   When Obama (a black DEMOCRAT) told blacks at Congressional Black Caucus to take off their slippers and stop complaining, the Republican-types jumped on him – and rightfully so.  I too jumped on Obama for saying this.  Shortly thereafter, Herman Cain (a black REPUBLICAN) who outright called black people “Brain Washed” on nationwide television, but all of sudden the republicans makes all sorts of excuses for this behavior.  In fact republicans DEFENDED IT.

HYPOCRISY #2:  The Republicans excuse for Herman Cain’s condescending remarks of calling black people “Brain Washed”, is that they turn it around and say (paraphrase) – ‘Well Obama told told CBC to take off their slippers & stop complaining”.  TWO wrongs don’t make a RIGHT!  Recently the republican-types (mostly whites) have jumped all over TWO Black men – Cornell West and Harry Belafonte for their remarks about another black man – Herman Cain.   But Foxnews (white hosts) decided to take West and Belafonte to the woodshed as there way of defending Herman Cain.   However, a few days prior, Foxnews (white hosts) took Lawrence O’Donnell (also a white host for MSNBC) to the woodshed with the excuse that Lawrence had no business as a white man to tell a black man on how to be black.  Since this is how most white Foxnews host & its white contributers wants to play this, then what the hell were they doing when they tried to tell Cornell West & Belafonte how to feel as a black person when they felt racially insulted by another black.

My take:  Herman Cain, apparently a bitter angry black man who has issues with his own race, is a polarizing figure to blacks.    He sort of reminds me of David Duke in this respect –     Both figures are no friend to the Black people, no matter what political party they affiliated with.  This man is  NOT trying to attract black votes, but instead his job is to SUPPRESS black democrat votes from switching to the republicans in 2012.  All this so that Mitt Romney can win the GENERAL election.   Face it folks, in the republican camp, its NOT enough of us black republicans for Herman Cain to be concerned, & he knows this.

Speaking as a Black Republican:  Unfortunately it takes something like a “Herman Cain” for any black republican to see what it REALLY looks like on nationwide TV when their own race is demeaned by another black republican.  It don’t look good at all and it Don’t Feel Good.  Instead of saying “dont let the establishment Republicans pick our candidate”,  As black republicans, we ought to add “Dont let ANY party, including the republican party, use the black race as a political foot ball”.

If Obama Had Said He Would Go Rogue, Would Folks Still Had Voted For Him?

Posted by arlenearmy on October 8, 2011

Everyone has an idea of what “gone rogue” REALLY means.   But there’s a lot of folks out there who would spin it to glamorize what they THINK they want to see in a leader.

Basically, to go rogue is to be your own boss.  No rules.  No tie downs.   No strings attached.  Behavior you would find in unattached people who are not accountable to others and whose success or failure falls on him/herself alone.  Self Employed.  Not a team player.  No supervision.  No commitment.   Not bound by constituents <—- does this sound familiar?

Personally, I can only speak for myself.   But a person “gone rogue” don’t make good leaders.  And they certainly don’t make good employees in organizations.  “Gone rogue”  is something you’ll find in “lone” hunters, gamblers, political fix-it men like Carl Rove or Carville.   There is a place for them in this world, but again, NOT in leadership roles.  What would become of our military if its LEADERS were to go rogue?

Regardless if  folks who follow Sarah Palin try to spin the positives of “going rogue” as befitting of a president, they need to realize that “gone rogue” means just what it says “gone rogue”.   No matter if its Palin or anybody else.    A person who “goes rogue” does it w/out authorization or consent from anyone.   Last time I checked, the presidency of the United States has strings attached.  The President has a boss and is checked & balanced by Congress. Which is something that Obama still fails to realize.

Yes, we already have a person in the White House who has “gone rogue”.    Going rogue may be a cute label to identity some people, but its not flattering for a “Leader”.   BUT check out where Im going with this:

Sarah Palin,  a self-admitted “going rogue”  person has already gave the caveat.   She readily admits that if you hire her, that she WILL go rogue.   She went rogue when she endorsed John McCain for his senate re-election bid.   And she did this against the blessing of the tea party, who propped her up as the tea party darling.  But “going rogue” don’t need no blessing from anybody.  A “going roguer”  just “do”.  Is that so hard to understand?  Again, she gave us the caveat, disclaimer, duly notified or what ever you want to call it.

The same with Obama, when he was straight up when he TOLD US he was 5 days away from “Fundamentally Transforming the United States of America” .  But there are many folks EVEN TODAY who deny they heard him say it or that they didn’t think he meant it literally.   Some say that they were deceived because he didn’t clarify what that statement meant.  Obama didn’t lie about it.   It’s that people were too mesmerized  and caught up in the euphoria at the time he said it.  But again, he did give us the caveat, disclaimer, duly notified or what ever you want to call it.

If Obama had said he would GO ROGUE, would folks still had voted for him?

And if they did, would they Blame Him for Doing It?

NOTE:  Definition of Rogue (ref. investopedia) A trader who acts independently of others – and, typically, recklessly – usually to the detriment of both the clients and the institution that employs him or her. Rogue traders typically trade in high risk investments which can create huge losses but also large gains.

Herman Cain Using Rep. Plakon office to Relay Campaign Press Releases to the Media? Is Cain’s Campaign a Charade?

Posted by arlenearmy on October 7, 2011

Herman Cain

Herman Cain

Why would a person who is running for the high office of the president of the United State use a congressional office to relay his or her CAMPAIGN press releases to the media?  Reportedly, this is what GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain has done.  I thought all campaign press releases were suppose to come directly from the candidate’s CAMPAIGN office/organization.

I don’t think Herman Cain has a “Real”campaign manager or an actual communications director.   He may have named someone to those position to put on a legal application.  But I suspect its a subterfuge.   I would go so far to say that its doubtful he has a campaign organization.  Why else would he go thru FL Rep. Scott Plakon office for them to relay press release to the media, on his behalf.

According to Miami Herald: “Cain’s campaign issued a statement through Longwood state Rep. Scott Plakon who said: “………… he won’t participate in the debate like the other candidates.”

I can understand that Cain’s campaign communications director Ellen Carmichael quit.  I can understand that this man is short of employees.  I can even understand that he does not have the respectable amount of financial resources.   But this business of him going thru a tax-payer funded congressional office to relay messages to the public is ridiculous and cheap.

Is Herman Cain’s candidacy a charade?
